Abhay Deol has raised his voice for many relevant topics. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actor spoke about the blind items that were written about Sushant Singh Rajput.

He said, “Why try and legitimatize rumours? And it’s worse when someone like Rajeev Masand does it because he has some credibility in the market and people respect him. He gives hints and it is obvious about whom he is talking and that will affect somebody’s mind. It doesn’t affect me but somebody who has come from outside, someone who has mental health issues, or someone who is sensitive, it’s harder for them. I have grown up around fame. So, I’ve known that ‘what is news today will be old news tomorrow’. So, I can let go off them. It doesn’t’ make any difference to me. But I don’t expect everybody to have that knowledge or feeling or that approach. Who are you serving by writing blind items?”
