Adah Sharma Reveals Being Out Of Work For A Month After Producer Rescheduled Her Shoot; Says, “Velli Hoon”- Watch

Adah Sharma has been without work for a month due to scheduling conflicts with a producer. While other directors adjusted their plans, the first producer refused to change the dates, leaving her idle. In a video shared on her official Instagram account, Sharma discussed a challenging experience involving a producer who repeatedly altered the shooting schedule of a project. She explained that this ultimately affected her commitments to two other films.

Sharma revealed that she had initially committed to three projects simultaneously. However, the first film kept changing its schedule, which started disrupting the timelines of her other projects. The producer of the first film was adamant about sticking to the original dates and pressured her manager to secure them at all costs.

“He said, ‘No matter what, I want these dates.’ My manager asked, ‘Are you sure?’ He replied, ‘Yes, I want these dates. They can’t be changed,’” Adah recounted in her Instagram video. She added that once the other directors learned about the situation, they tried to accommodate her by adjusting their schedules. In one case, the producer changed the shooting dates for the entire cast.

Adah Reflects On This Experience

Reflecting on the experience, Sharma emphasised that not everyone in the industry behaves poorly. “You’ve probably heard that people in this industry are bad. But I want to tell you, there are good people too. Not everyone is ill-mannered,” she said.

However, after the schedules were shifted to accommodate the first film, its producer unexpectedly withdrew, stating that the earlier dates were no longer needed. “I don’t want those dates now,” he said.

As a result, Sharma has been unable to work for about a month. Expressing her frustration, she concluded, “My life is ruined. I’ve been completely, emotionally, mentally, professionally, and financially idle for a month.”
