Salman Khan on 'Sultan'

Director Ali Abbas Zafar is putting the best effort to make his film ‘Sultan‘ look as real as possible. This sports drama based film stars Salman Khan playing a Haryanvi wrestler named Sultan Ali Khan. With the film being based on Wrestling, the makers have planned to move their base in Ludhiana where this sport has been given a wide recognition.

According to sources, a month-long schedule has been planned over Kila Raipur village and Gujjarwal village. Anushka Sharma, the lead actress of the film, has already started shooting in Mumbai. Apparently, the Ludhiana schedule will have all the principal actors of the movie which include Randeep Hooda and ‘Kai Po Che’ actor Amit Sadh.

This would not be the first time for actor Salman Khan to be shooting in Ludhiana, earlier he shot here with Kareena Kapoor Khan for his romantic movie ‘Bodyguard.’

Recently, Salman Khan’s best friend and actor Aamir Khan also shot in the same village for his next film ‘Dangal,’ a biopic film again based on Wrestling where Aamir would be playing the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat a former wrestler turned coach for his daughters.

Now, that’s going to be damn interesting for the fans of both Superstars to look out which movie will capture the true essence of the wrestling sport and the village beauty more smashingly.

‘Sultan’ is tentatively planned to release during the festive season of Eid whereas ‘Dangal’ is scheduled to come on December 23, 2016.
