After Shraddha Kapoor’s cameo in Bhediya, Rajkummar Rao teases fans about his appearance in Varun Dhawan starrer

Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon-starrer Bhediya has become one of the most anticipated releases of the year. With every material that the makers are releasing from the film, the excitement for it is just growing all the more. The trailer of Bhediya was released about two weeks ago and was received with a roaring response from critics and audiences alike, with everyone praising the storyline, performances and the VFX. After that, the team released the film’s first song, Thumkeshwari, and the peppy dance number just reminded the audience of the good old Bollywood.

While Varun and Kriti’s moves are amazing and completely in sync with the vibe of the song, what has caught the most attention in Thumkeshwari is the cameo done by Shraddha Kapoor. The actress appears as Stree from the 2018 horror-comedy and the audience is just loving her enchanting presence. Post the song, Shraddha also gave an update on Stree 2 saying it is in the making and now his Stree leading man RajKummar Rao had an interesting response when asked if he would be seen in Bhediya too.

RajKummar released the trailer of his next Netflix film, Monica O My Darling, yesterday and during a media interaction, the actor was asked that now that people have seen Stree in Bhediya, will Vicky (his character in Stree) be seen in the Varun Dhawan-starrer as well. Raj had a quirky reply to this query as he answered, “Who knows.”

Not just that, Raj was also asked about the development on Stree 2 considering Shraddha has already said the film is in the making and it is expected to go on the floors next year. Answering the question of when it will be starting, Raj subtly said, “Hopefully soon!” In a BTS video from the shoot of Thumkeshwari, Shraddha can be heard saying, “Super vibe, its so nice to be back on set. Its so exciting for me because we are going to start Stree 2 very very soon.” Reports also suggest that Bhediya will pave the way for Stree 2 and Varun is also expected to have an appearance in that sequel.
