Ahead of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding, Neetu Kapoor recalls fond memories of engagement with Rishi Kapoor

Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to tie the knot soon, in an intimate wedding ceremony in Mumbai. The Kapoor and Bhatt family will kick-start wedding rituals from April 13 onwards. Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Rima Jain, and others were clicked earlier on Wednesday morning, at Ranbir’s residence in Mumbai. They were spotted arriving at the house of the Brahmastra actor, for a Puja. Ahead of the wedding of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor shared a rare throwback photo from her engagement with the late actor, Rishi Kapoor.

Neetu Kapoor shared the photo and recalled fond memories from her engagement day with Rishi Kapoor. She shared the photo and reminisced memories from their special day. The actress recalled the fond memories from Baisakhi 1979, 43 years back. The engagement of Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor took place on April 13, 1979, on Baisakhi. Reportedly, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are set to get engaged on Baisakhi too.

Sharing the post, Kapoor wrote, “Fond memories of baisakhi day as we got engaged 43 years back on 13th April 1979 (sic).”

Taking to the comments section of the post, Atul Kasbekar remembered Rishi Kapoor. He wrote, “I think of RK often Effortless talent Mad, loud, warm, heart of gold that he wore on his sleeve Taken way too soon (sic).” Riddhima Kapoor Sahni reacted to the post made by her mother and dropped a red heart and folded hands emoji.

Meanwhile, earlier on Wednesday, Ayan Mukerji made a special post and shared the teaser video of the song Kesariya from Brahmastra. He shared the love song and wished the Brahmastra couple, ahead of their wedding. Ayan’s post comes as a confirmation that Ranbir and Alia’s wedding is happening.

Talking about the marriage, Ranbir and Alia have arranged for tight security outside their residence. The security personnel are ensuring the phones of everyone entering the premises are not capable enough to film videos or click photos. The couple is reportedly tying the knot on April 15 and will host a grand reception at the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai.
