Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gets candid about her hubby and co-star Abhishek

Finally, after 8 years, Bollywood’s one of the most loved couples -Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are all set to reunite for a film titled, ‘Gulab Jamun’. The film will be directed by none other than Anurag Kashyap, who helmed Abhishek’s upcoming film, ‘Manmarziyaan’.

In a recent interview with Deccan Chronicle, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was asked about her hubby and co-star Abhishek Bachchan, to which she replied,  “Abhishek and I respect each other as partners. Forget the fact that we are husband and wife, because we are co-stars as well, and we’ve done a lot of films together. ‘Guru’ and ‘Raavan’ are some of the great pieces of work that we are proud of.”

The duo has worked together in films like, ‘Dhai Akshar Prem Ke’ (2000), ‘Kuch Naa Kaho’ (2003), ‘Umrao Jaan’ (2006), ‘Dhoom 2’ (2006), ‘Guru’ (2007), ‘Raavan’ (2010) and ‘Sarkar Raj’ (2008).

Talking about their other projects, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen with Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Divya Dutta and Pihu Sand in Atul Majrekar’s next, ‘Fanney Khan’. The film will hit the theaters on 3rd August with films like ‘Mulk’ and ‘Karwaan’.

Whereas Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in ‘Manmarziyaan’ along with Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. It will release on 21st September this year.
