Aishwarya Rai Bachchan reveals what’s stopping her to do a film with hubby Abhishek Bachchan

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are one of the most loved couples of Bollywood. Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek have worked together in a number of films including Guru, Kuch Naa Kaho, Raavan among others. In a recent interview, Aishwarya expressed her desire to do a film with her husband Abhishek. She also revealed what’s stopping her from doing so.

In an interview with ETimes, when Aishwarya was asked about working with Abhishek, she looked up to the skies and said, ‘It should happen’.

The actress also revealed the reason she is not taking up more films right now is because of her family. She said, “My priority is still my family and my child. I braved and stepped out to complete Mani sir’s Ponniyin Selvan, but that doesn’t change my focus for my family and Aaradhya.”

Earlier this year, Abhishek had expressed his desire to work with his wife onscreen again. He had told Indian Express that he would ‘love’ to collaborate with Aishwarya again, but ‘it has to be right script at the right time’.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek recently made headlines as they attended IIFA Awards in Abu Dhabi. A video of Aishwarya Rai and daughter Aaradhya matching steps with Abhishek had gone viral on the internet. The couple’s green carpet pictures had also grabbed a lot of attention. The couple twinned in black and looked stunning. As always, Aishwarya and Abhishek gave fans major relationship goals.

On the work front, Aishwarya Rai will be seen in Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film Ponniyin Selvan: I. Earlier this year, Aishwarya shared her first look from the film and captioned it, “The Golden Era comes to the big screens on Sept 30^th!” Talking about Abhishek, he will be seen in R Balki’s Ghoomer.
