Indra Kumar directorial ‘Total Dhamaal‘ is all set to hit the screens on February 22. The rib-tickling comedy features Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Johnny Lever, Boman Irani and Javed Jaffrey in pivotal roles. The movie was also to be released in Pakistan on the same date.

However, in the light of the Pulwama attacks, Ajay Devgn has taken to his social media handle and shared that the movie will not release in the neighboring country.

This decision was solely taken by Ajay Devgn, as a trade source revealed to Cine Blitz, “’Total Dhamaal’ was set for a huge release in Pakistan. In fact, the censor screening was supposed to take place today (February 18) evening. But Ajay Devgn told the makers to stop it and not release the movie in the country.”

The team of ‘Total Dhamaal’ has donated Rs.50 lakhs for the families of the soldiers who lost their lives in the attack. Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh and many others condemning the attacks have lent their support to the grieving families.

‘Total Dhamaal’ is directed by Indra Kumar and brings back Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit together on the big screen once again after a long hiatus. The film is the third instalment of the hit  ‘Dhamaal’ franchise.
