Akshay Kumar becomes the highest taxpayer again, receives certificate from Income Tax department

Actor Akshay Kumar has once again become the highest taxpayer from the entertainment industry. He is reportedly honoured with a Samman Patra by the Income Tax department. As per reports, Akshay has been getting the title of the “highest taxpayer” for the past five years.

The honourary certificate has been doing rounds on social media. As per a report in Pinkvilla, “He has the maximum number of films today, as well as ruling the endorsement world. It’s no surprise for him to feature in the highest taxpayer list of India.” The actor is currently shooting for Jaswant Singh Gill biopic in the UK, so his team accepted the certificate from the Income Tax Department on his behalf.

On the work front, he was last seen in Samrat Prithviraj co-starring Manushi Chhillar. The film was not received well at the box-office and was a failure. He has many films lined up for release. Akshay has Raksha Bandhan with Bhumi Pednekar that is releasing on August 11, Ram Setu with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha and Selfiee with Emraan Hashmi.

He also has Oh My God 2, Cinderella/Katputli and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan that also has Tiger Shroff with him. Also, he will star in the Hindi remake of Suriya starrer Soorarai Pottru. Recently, Akshay was seen as a guest on Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan Season 7 with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Reportedly, he also has a film with her.
