Salman Khan releases his movies mostly during Eid. Be it ‘Dabangg’, ‘Kick’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ or others, the actor has pocketed a good amount of money owing to the festive season. His upcoming movie ‘Bharat’ is also releasing this Eid. But when we came to know that Akshay Kumar has locked the Eid 2020 date for the release of ‘Sooryavanshi’, it came as a shock to us.

There was a news in the Deccan Chronicle that Akshay called Salman before blocking the release date of his movie. When Salman agreed, then Akshay locked the release date of his movie for next Eid. During a media interaction when Akshay was asked about this, he refuted the news of calling Salman. “No, it is nothing like that,”  said the ‘Rustom’ actor.

Akshay and Salman share a good rapport and the latter knows to value friendship and relationship very well. Now let’s see how Akshay’s movie works at the box office during Eid.

Talking about ‘Bharat’, the movie is an adaptation of a South Korean film, ‘Ode to My Father’. Salman will be portraying multiple avatars in it. It is jointly produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Nikhil Namit and Salman Khan. While Akshay will be playing a cop in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’. Currently, he is gearing up for his upcoming release ‘Kesari’ that is releasing on March 21.
