Akshay Kumar on comparison with the Khans: This is an industry for everyone and everybody is there to last
Akshay Kumar has a plethora of movies this year like ‘Kesari’, ‘Mission Mangal’, ‘Good News’, ‘Housefull 4′ and ‘Sooryavanshi’. He has started shooting for some of the movies while the shoot of ‘Housefull 4’ has been wrapped up. It seems this year he will be ruling the industry for sure. Currently, he is busy promoting his upcoming movie ‘Kesari’.
Recently, there was a headline that ‘2019 is Akshay Kumar‘s year. Move over Khans’ (Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan) . During a media interaction when Akshay was asked about this news, he said, “What is move over Khans or anybody? This is an industry for everyone and everybody is there to last. To be in the industry and sustain is a very big thing. There is nothing like that. This is all media made.”
‘Kesari’, ‘Mission Mangal’, ‘Good News’, ‘Housefull 4’ and ‘Sooryavanshi’ are the movies of different genres and Akshay will be seen portraying different roles in all these movies.
His upcoming release is ‘Kesari’ and he is leaving no stone unturned to make it a huge success. The trailer has received an overwhelming from all quarters.
In ‘Kesari’, Akshay is playing Havildar Ishar Singh, who led the Sikhs and fought against an army of 10,000 Afghan soldiers in the Battle of Saragarhi in 1897. Presented by Zee Studios in association with Dharma Productions, Cape Of Good Films and Azure Entertainment, the action-war is directed by Anurag Singh. The movie is hitting the screens on March 21.
