After delivering back-to-back hits with socially relevant subject films like ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ and ‘PadMan’, actor Akshay Kumar is currently shooting for his next titled ‘Kesari’. Many would be aware that this film is based on the Battle of Saragarhi and will have the actor performing some high-octane action sequences, in the role of the man who leads the battle.

Now, it’s not a hidden fact that Akshay has time and again showed brilliant action skills in his early films. He was referred to be as Khiladi Kumar and was even stereotyped for doing just action movies at that point of time. (Also Read: Akshay Kumar’s son Aarav’s reaction to ‘PadMan’ makes him a happy dad. But, recently he gave an exclusive interview to GQ India Magazine where he opened up on the same and much more. He said that perhaps he won’t attempt to do one in a full-fledged manner after five years from now. While talking about doing different kind of content-driven films currently, he mentioned saying, “I’m doing ‘Kesari’, a war film. I’m also 50 now… How much time do I have left? How much can my body take? Realistically, I probably have another five years to do action, so I’d like to do as much of it while I can.”

Well, we really hope that ‘Kesari’ and the other projects which might see the actor performing action on the big screen, live up to everyone’s expectations.

Talking about the film ‘Kesari’, it stars actress Parineeti Chopra playing the female lead. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film is slated to hit the screens on March 22, 2019.
