Akshay Kumar Reveals Son Aarav Bhatia Has NO Interest In Joining Films; Says He Earns Rs 4500 By Learning Fashion In Village

Akshay Kumar recently shared that his son Aarav Bhatia is quite similar to him but has no interest in entering films. He mentioned that Aarav is currently learning fashion instead. His wife, author Twinkle Khanna, also had a brief stint in the film industry. However, the actor recently shared that his son Aarav has no interest in acting and is instead focused on building a career in fashion.

Akshay Kumar Reveals Son Aarav Bhatia Gets Paid Rs 4500

In a podcast with Shubhankar Mishra, Akshay said, “We are both very alike. He is into health, and so am I. He is a tall boy and very focused.” The actor added, “He loves working. But he doesn’t want to join films. He doesn’t have any such plan. He wants to be in fashion.”

Akshay further elaborated on Aarav’s interest in fashion. He said, “Voh bechara aaj bhi Rs 4500 ki naukri kar raha hai. Acchi baat hai, kyun nahi? (He’s still working a Rs 4500 job even today. It’s a good thing, why not?) He is going to villages and learning fashion from there, different kinds of prints and everything. I don’t lecture him much, but I have told him not to harm anyone.”

Aarav Bhatia, born in 2002, is Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna’s first child. At age 15, he moved abroad to pursue higher studies and is currently enrolled at a university in London. It earned over Rs 15 crore on its opening day and is expected to perform even better over the weekend.

His next project is Welcome To The Jungle, directed by Ahmed Khan. The film stars Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever, Aftab Shivdasani, Lara Dutta, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Daler Mehndi, Farida Jalal, Krushna Abhishek, and Kiku Sharda, among others. It is scheduled to release in theatres on June 26, 2026.

Additionally, Akshay has Haiwaan in the pipeline, co-starring Saif Ali Khan and directed by Priyadarshan.
