EXCLUSIVE: Alaya F on her fitness and workout regime: Even mentally I try and keep myself healthy
Actress Alaya F is a fitness freak and she more often shares glimpses of her fitness regime and workout routines on social media. The Jawaani Jaanemann actor also shares beauty tips and tricks with her fans. For the finale episode of Cook Off on Bollywood Bubble, Alaya revealed all about her fitness and workout regime, what she eats in a day, her cheat meals and her hilarious kitchen disasters.
For the unversed, she is a pure vegetarian. When asked when she started opting for healthy alternatives for food, the actress said, “I live a healthy lifestyle in general. I eat quite healthy, workout and keep active and fit. Even mentally you know, I try and keep myself healthy as much as I can.”
Talking about her lunch, breakfast and dinner, she said, “I have a set menu for the week and it rotates every week. Every day it’s different. From Monday to Sunday, I make sure it’s different so that I am not sick of it and then it repeats in the coming week. So, my breakfast can be anything like raagi dosa or rawa idli or muesli or oats. Everyday, it’s something different. My lunch had normal bhaji, rajma with brown rice.” She also loves quinoa with salads or brown rice.
When asked about her definition of fitness, Alaya said, “Just a good constant state of balance and right intensions in a lot of ways. Being fit, it doesn’t mean you can’t have a cheat meal or your favourite food. I think it’s just all about balance and the right intension with which you are doing. I feel if you are on diet with all the bad intension, like dieting only for the sake of losing weight, then you will go into a very negative zone of your body and health. That’s not productive for anyone and you won’t end up being fit at all. So, that’s my defination of fitness. I have times when I am working out all the time and I have times when I am mentally not in a place when I want to work out. I just want to sit and do nothing. That’s also ok. It’s a balance of both and not lifetime of only this or that. That’s my definition of fitness because it allows room to grow and learn more.”
