Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor announce pregnancy; Priyanka Chopra, Karan Johar & others congratulate the couple

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting their first child together. Yes, you read that right! Alia Bhatt took to Instagram on Monday and shared the good news of her pregnancy. The actress shared a picture from their ultrasound appointment and wrote, “Our baby…. Coming soon.”

Congratulations are coming in order for the couple. Priyanka Chopra, who shares a great bond with Alia and Ranbir, shared a comment saying, “Congratulations honey!! Yaay! Can’t wait!” Tiger Shroff, Ishaan Khatter, Rakul Preet Singh, Parineeti Chopra also congratulated the couple.

Karan Johar dropped a comment saying, “Heart is bursting.” Mouni Roy, who will be sharing screen space with Ranbir and Alia in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, commented, “?ॐ नमः शिवाय? Immensely happy.” Malaika Arora commented, “God bless.”

Ranbir and Alia’s fans too are beyond happy for the couple.

On the work front, Alia and Ranbir will be seen together in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna. Ranbir’s other projects include Shamshera with Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. The trailer of Shamshera was recently released and it received a great response. For the first time, Ranbir will be seen in a double role. Fans are beyond excited for it. The actor also has Luv Ranjan’s untitled film with Shraddha Kapoor.

Alia will be seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani also stars Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. Besides that, she will be making her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone. Alia will be sharing screenspace with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.
