Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Yash to do a look test for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan? Read deets

After Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush was a part of major controversy, it crashed at the box office. Right before Adipurush’s release, news emerged that Nitesh Tiwari is currently gearing up to start his next movie which will be an adaption of Ramayan. It’s said that movie will star Alia Bhatt as Sita and husband Ranbir Kapoor as Ram. But, the real talk around the movie began when it was reported that Yash might be playing the role of Raavan in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan.

Will Yash do the look test as Raavan?

The KGF actor was reportedly approached for the role of Raavan. Soon after news emerged that he has rejected the role. But, there’s no official proof or statement to support the above statement. Now, the latest report suggests that a look test for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan will be held at the end of July. We eagerly await to hear the official announcement of the finalized cast. Will Yash be a part of the look test? only time will tell. But, we are equally excited to see Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor together as Ram-Sita.

Previously it was reported by ETimes that Yash has turned down the opportunity to portray the character of Raavan in Nitesh Tiwari’s next Ramayan. The insider revealed that the actor is at a crucial stage of his career and has chosen not to do any negative roles.

Imagine that just the reports of Yash, Alia and Ranbir together in a movie are getting us excited. If all this stands true it will blow our minds.

On the work front, Yash has recently announced his film Yash 19. The movie is said to be released in 2024. In addition to that he will be seen in the highly awaited movie KGF: Chapter 3.

On the other hand, Alia is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani alongside Ranveer Singh. Directed by Karan Johar the movie is slated to release on July 28. Additionally, she also has her Hollywood debut with Netflix’s Heart Of Stone, releasing on August 11.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in the movie Sandeep Reddy Vanga film Animal. It also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. The movie is set to hit theatres on December 1.
