Alpha Trailer OUT! ‘Sita’ Alia Bhatt, Sharvari Set Out To Burn Bobby Deol’s Lanka With Guns, Knives And Killer Precision- Watch

After teasing fans with the tease less than a week ago, Yash Raj Films has finally dropped the trailer of Alpha. Headlined by ‘Sita’ Alia Bhatt, the spy actioner – also starring Sharvari, sets up a relishing, fun origin story of two deadly girls in a popcorn action entertainer! And let me tell you, Sharvari fans who were disappointed by her minimal screen time in the teaser will be happy now.

The action-packed trailer offers a deeper look into the story including Alia Sita being raised by Bobby Deol’s Fateh, transforming into become a deadly assassin and eventually turns against him. Alpha Trailer Out

The trailer opens with a newborn baby placed in a glass enclosure as Fateh says that he will name her Sita as her mother’s name was Janki. The clip that gives a glimpse of him training her to become the ultimate killing machine – an assassin who will stop at nothing when it comes to completing their mission. While the video shows one thing, the audio has Sita describes Fateh as a “demon” who abducted a princess. We then hear Alia’s character say that unlike Sita from the Ramayana, who waited for Ram to rescue her, she will take down Fateh and burn his Lanka herself.

The clip then introduces us to a fun-loving but equally deadly Sharvari. Together, the deadly girls take on multiple mercenaries leading to a 1v1 confrontation between Alia Bhatt’s Sita and Bobby Deol’s Fateh. The video also features Anil Kapoor’s Colonel Vikrant Kaul appearing to guide the two female agents against Fateh who appears to be a disgruntled former spy seeking revenge against the nation.

The trailer also teases a special appearance by Major Kabir Dhaliwal, aka Hrithik Roshan, who will step in to assist Alia and Sharvari’s characters on their mission. Sharvari’s character arc is still skillfully kept under wraps.

Alpha is the seventh film in the YRF Spy Universe. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari as well as Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor. Elevating the stylised, cool visuals of Alpha is the pulsating background score! Global Top DJ HUGEL’s worldwide chartbuster track Jamaican Bam Bam has been incorporated in the trailer to bring in a relentless burst of energy to the trailer, symbolic of the adrenaline rush that Alpha seeks to generate when people see the film in theatres.

The film will release worldwide, exclusively in cinemas, on July 3, 2026.
