Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise released in theaters in December last year amidst the pandemic, yet it still broke several records at the box-office. From the songs to dialogues to hook steps, every single thing about Pushpa became viral on social media. Pushpa’s song Srivalli become a rage specially the hook step. Not just fans, many celebrities, including some of the cricketers, were also gripped by the fever and they were recreating the slipper step from the song. Now, Amitabh Bachchan has revealed the truth behind the iconic step in Srivalli. For the unversed, the Hindi version of the song is crooned by Javed Ali.

Reportedly, on Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, Amitabh Bachchan narrated an interesting trivia related to the Pushpa song.

Big B said that recently he went to South for shooting of a film in Hyderabad. He asked his director about Allu Arjun’s famous dance step. He asked whether it was choreographed or was a mistake. The director told him, “Allu Arjun missed his slipper and it became a step.’ The director (Sukumar) kept it as it is.” This is indeed an interesting revelation, isn’t it?

Pushpa: The Rise entered Rs. 100 crore mark in Hindi belts, and collected Rs 300 crore worldwide. Fans are now eagerly waiting for the sequel. As per reports, makers are likely to roll Pushpa: The Rule in August and it will release next year.

Coming back to Mr Bachchan, he will be seen in Goodbye with Rashmika Mandanna, Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, Project K with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone and The Intern remake with Deepika. He also has Unnchai in his kitty.
