Amitabh Bachchan had just recently returned back home after he recovered from Covid-19. It was a big relief to his fans to see him come back hearty and healthy. The actor stepped out for the first time after recovering from Covid-19 to plant a tree in his late mother Tejwant Kaur Suri’s memory on her birthday.

Big B took to his Instagram account to share pictures of himself planting saplings, he wrote, “.. जो बसे हैं वे उजड़ते हैं , प्रकृति के जड़ नियम से ; पर किसी उजड़े हुए को , फिर बसाना कब मना है ? .. है अन्धेरी रात पर दीवा जलाना कब मना है ? “ ~ हरिवंश राय बच्चन This large ‘gulmohar’ tree was planted as a sapling by me when we got our first house Prateeksha in 1976 .. the recent storm brought it down .. but yesterday on my Mother’s birthday Aug 12th I replanted a fresh new Gulmohar tree in her name ..?? at the same spot !(sic)”

Taking to his blog the ‘Piku’ star wrote how much his mother loved plants, he wrote, “Ma loved flowers and gardens and wherever we shifted residence to she would surround us all with the most beautiful gardens and flowers of the new environ .. she wanted fresh flowers each day in the house .. particularly so in her room .. the rose being her most favourite .. “

Meanwhile, apart from Big B, his son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya and granddaughter Aaradhya also have returned home after recovering from Covid-19.
