The supporting cast adds further depth to the narrative. Emily Watson will portray Amrita’s mother, Marie-Antoinette Gottesman. Jaideep Ahlawat plays her father, Umrao Singh Sher-Gil. Amri is currently in post-production stages after filming across India and Hungary. Mira Nair co-wrote the film with Clara Royer and produced it alongside Samudrika Arora and Michael Nozik.
