Mushtaq Khan Funeral: Welcome Actor Passes Away At 75 After Battle With Cancer; Son Shares Last Rites Details

Actor Mushtaq Khan – who has been part of iconic films such as Welcome, Gadar and Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke, among others is no more. The 75-year-old actor passed away on Friday, September 25 after losing a battle to cancer. His son, Mohsin Khan confirmed the sad news and revealed that his father was admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Vile Parle about a fortnight ago.

Mohsin Khan Shares Details About Mushtaq Khan’s Funeral

While speaking to a media publication last last, Mohsin mourned his father’s demise and revealed that actor’s mortal remains will be kept at their residence from 10 am to 12 pm, before the Friday prayers. He added that after that that the funeral prayer will be held at the Yari Road Cemetery, where Mushtaq will be laid to rest.

Along with sharing the funeral details, Mohsin also urged fans to celebrate his father’s life and not only mourn his death. Khan was quoted saying, “Yeh dukh ki gadi zaroor hai… jinhone unhe pyaar diya hai, kaam ko pyaar diya hai… dukh ki jagah let’s celebrate his life. Woh humare bich nahi hai, yeh sach hai. Lekin unke yaadein, unka kaam hamesha humare saath rahega.”
