Amid dating rumours, Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur go twinning in black at Karan Johar’s party

Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur, who are rumoured to be dating, were spotted in the city last night. Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur arrived in style at filmmaker Karan Johar’s residence for his dinner party. The rumoured couple was twinning in black outfits.

While Aditya kept it casual in a black t-shirt, Ananya stunned in a black dress. The rumoured lovebirds were spotted in their respective cars.

Here’s how the dating rumours started…

The duo first grabbed attention after Karan Johar asked Ananya about her equation with The Night Manager actor on his show Koffee With Karan Season 7. On the show, Karan pulled Ananya’s leg saying, “I saw in my party….” The Liger actress then cut him off saying, “No, no you didn’t see anything.” During the episode, Ananya also said that she finds Aditya Roy Kapur ‘hot’. Well, Ananya’s reaction led to many wondering if she’s dating him.

Post that, Ananya and Aditya were spotted together at Kriti Sanon and Manish Malhotra’s Diwali parties. Later, Aditya added fuel to the dating rumours after he joined Ananya and her father Chunky Pandey to FIFA World Cup Semi-Finals. That’s not all, they also walked the ramp together at the Lakme Fashion Week this year.

Aditya and Ananya are yet to react to their dating rumours. However, earlier this year, Ananya’s mom Bhavana Panday opened up about her daughter’s relationship status. Bhavana set the record straight by saying that her daughter is single.

Speaking with ETimes, Bhavana said, “The fact is that Ananya is single, link-ups happen in a profession like this. It’s okay. It’s a part and parcel of an actor’s life, and you have to take everything in, good or bad. I feel like they get so much love and adulation, so I’d rather genuinely focus on that than the negativity that comes with it, because the positives definitely outweigh the negative.”

On the work front, Ananya will be seen in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan and Dream Girl 2. Talking about Aditya, he has The Night Manager 2.
