Anshula has been actively sharing glimpses of the wedding festivities on social media. Khushi, Janhvi Kapoor, and Arjun Kapoor all expressed their happiness and celebrated her special day. For her wedding, Anshula chose a beautiful pink outfit. However, the standout piece was her mother’s 42-year-old gold tissue and zardozi dupatta. This heirloom became the centrepiece of her bridal ensemble, with the rest of her attire thoughtfully designed to complement it.

In an Instagram post, she shared the story behind her choice. She wrote, “There was only one thing I knew I wanted to carry with me when I became a bride – my mom’s 42-year-old gold tissue & zardozi dupatta. Everything else was built around it. On a day that marked the beginning of a new family, it felt right to be wrapped in the one that raised me first.”

She further expressed her gratitude to designer Tarun Tahiliani and the creative team. Kapoor explained how every detail was imagined around her cherished heirloom. She wrote, “Together with @taruntahiliani, and with the incredible vision of @mohitrai and @ruchikrishnastyles, every detail was imagined around the heirloom that meant the most to me.”

About Anshula’s Wedding Outfit

Her bridal ensemble beautifully blended craftsmanship from across India. It featured intricate Kashida embroidery layered with rich zari work, a bandhani gharchola dupatta symbolising her new family. It was imbued with a palette of antique rose, blush, and muted gold. Delicate Phulkari borders paid tribute to her Punjabi roots, creating a timeless, deeply personal look. She graciously thanked Tarun Tahiliani for bringing her vision to life and creating a truly special and meaningful bridal outfit.

Though her mother couldn’t be physically present, Anshula kept her photograph close throughout the wedding. It was especially during her pheras that it added a touching reminder of her presence and blessings.
