Anupam Shyam Passes Away: Manoj Bajpayee, Tisca Chopra, Manoj Joshi mourn the demise of the veteran actor

Veteran actor Anupam Shyam left for the heavenly adobe on Sunday night. The 63-year-old actor died due to multiple organ failure. Anupam was admitted to the hospital following a kidney infection. Anupam has worked in several renowned films and television serials. The news of his untimely death left his friends and fans aghast. Several celebs like Manoj Bajpayee and others took to their social media handles to mourn the demise of the Mann Ki Awaaz: Pratigya actor.

Apart from being a known face on the small screen, Anupam starred in acclaimed films like Satya, Dil Se, Slumdog Millionaire, Bandit Queen and Lagaan, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi to name a few.

Mourning the demise of Anupam, Manoj Bajpayee took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Rest in peace my friend!!You loved it fully both as an actor and as a person!!!Bahut yaad aaoge Dilli aur Mumbai me bitaye din bhi yaad aayenge!!!May your soul rest in peace(sic)”

Veteran actor Manoj Joshi expressing his sorrow wrote, “Saddened by the demise of my friend and very talented actor Anupam Shyam ji. We have lost a great man. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. ॐ शांति(sic).”

Similarly, celebs like Tisca Chopra, Rashami Desai, Sudhanshu Pandey and Hiten Tejwani also offered condolences.

Lagaan actor Yashpal Sharma speaking about Anupam’s death told ANI, “I got to know that he’s no more. So we rushed here and found he was still breathing. The doctor later declared him dead. He was hospitalised for 4 days. He had high blood sugar and used to take injections during shooting of his last film.”

Anupam is remembered for his portrayal of Thakur Sajjan Singh in Mann Ki Awaaz: Pratigya. He had recently resumed the shooting of the show’s second season.
