Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are one of the most loved couples in the industry. They are relationship goals. Anushka and Virat tied the knot in December 2017, and welcomed their first child, daughter Vamika in 2021. Now, in a recent interview, Virat Kohli heaped praise on wife Anushka Sharma. The Indian cricketer also said that Anushka has made a lot of sacrifices as a mother in the last two years.

In his recent RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) podcast, Virat said, “The way things have been in the past two years, we have had our child and, as a mother, the sacrifices that she made have been massive. Looking at her, I realised whatever problems I had were nothing. As far as expectations are concerned, as long as your family loves you for who you are, you don’t expect much because that is the basic requirement.”

Virat went on to add that Anushka is a ‘big inspiration’ for him. He said, “When fall in love with a person, you start processing those changes withing you as well. Her outlook towards life was different and it urged me to change for the better and become more accepting of things.”

Anushka was last seen in Anand L Rai’s Zero with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The actress later took a break from films. Anushka has been enjoying motherhood. She often shares her daughter Vamika’s pictures on Instagram.

Last year, Anushka made a cameo in Netflix’s Qala. The actress will be next seen in Chakda Xpress. In December last year, Anushka wrapped up the shoot of Chakda Xpress. The actress had shared pictures from the last day of shoot on her Instagram. She had captioned it as, “It’s a wrap on #ChakdaXpress and thank you @JhulanGoswami for the final clap to bring an end to the shoot! #ComingSoon #ChakdaXpressOnNetflix.”

Anushka is stepping into the shoes of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami for her biopic. Fans are excited to see her in the upcoming sports drama.
