Anushka Sharma opposite Salman Khan in ‘Sultan’

Salman Khan‘s recent home production ‘Hero’ has hit the theaters. The Khan will now move towards his next project ‘Sultan’. Well, the movie has been much in the news, one for being quite similar to Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ and second for the leading lady hassle. The makers of the movie had enrolled Kangana Ranaut opposite Salman Khan for ‘Sultan’, but the Queen actress preferred Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’. Later Deepika too was approached but the Diva is busy.

A number of names cropped up from Priyanka Chopra to Parineeti Chopra but seems like ultimately the makers have now zeroed upon Anushka Sharma. Apparently the ‘Bombay Velvet’ actress will be cast opposite Salman Khan in ‘Sultan’.

Sources said, “Salman and Anushka have never been paired together in a film before. The film is supposed to start by November this year, by which time Anushka will complete the first schedule of Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ in London. Ali Abbas Zafar is already into pre-production as he is in Los Angeles meeting Hollywood stunt/fight co-ordinator Larnell Stoval (Max Steel, Undisputed 3).”

Salman Khan starer ‘Sultan’ is likely to release on Eid 2016.
