October 14, 2023 has become day of celebration across the nation. The much-awaited India Vs Pakistan clash is taking place in Ahmedabad as a part of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Cricket fans from all corners are coming to Gujarat for the big spectacle. And actress Anushka Sharma also joined the list as she flew down there to support husband Virat Kohli. But she got a big surprise on her way over there as well.

On her flight over to Ahmedabad, Anushka had Sachin Tendulkar and Dinesh Kartik travelling in the same airplane. The three of them posed for a picture together in the flight itself and it was shared on X (Twitter) by Dinesh. Anushka is seen wearing a black ensemble with sunglasses while Sachin is donning a blue floral shirt. Dinesh himself is wearing a beige hoodie and the three of them flash big smiles for the camera. The cricketer captioned the pic, “Royalty at 35,000 ft”.

India Vs Pakistan

The ongoing world cup is the first one that is happening completely in India. Before this, all world cups held in India have been in collaboration with the subcontinent countries. Till now, India has had two matches against Australia and Afghanistan and the team has won both. India Vs Pakistan is the third clash for the men in blue. It is one of the most awaited matches of the World Cup.

There are 10 teams taking part in this year’s World Cup. The format for this year will see every team facing the other in a round robin format. The top 4 team at the ends will qualify for the semi finals. The finals of this edition will also be held in Ahmedabad on November 19, 2023.
