The ‘PK’ actress recently graced the cover of Vogue India magazine and talked about some insights that were unknown by her fans. As we all know Virushka’s wedding was a close-knit affair and only 42 members were invited for the big day. Yes, not a single media channel was invited to cover the wedding. As they did not want their wedding to be extensively covered by media, the couple used fake names.
Talking about the same, Anushka said, “We wanted to have a home-style wedding. There were only 42 people there, with all our friends and family present.” The ‘Zero’ actress said that she wanted it to be about Virat and her marrying each other, and not a big fat wedding.
When Anushka was asked about the Kohli’s fake name, she told Vogue India, “I think Virat’s was Rahul.” The actress was recently in news for making a plan to open an animal shelter. The land that she had taken in Dahagaon village of Shahapur taluka has been stuck for the last three years. The land is in the name of Anushka Sharma and she holds all the rights of making an animal shelter. The project started in 2016 and now, it will finally be set up after facing several hiccups.
