AR Murugadoss Clears The Air Surrounding Salman Khan’s Sikandar Being A Remake; Says, “It’s A Completely Original Story”

Salman Khan is all set to entertain his fans this EID with the upcoming AR Murugadoss directed, Sajid Nadiadwala produced actioner Sikandar. With just days left until the film releases globally in theatres, the hype surrounding the film is only increasing. From songs to BTS clips, the makers are releasing a numbers of assets to keep the excitement high.

Now, in a recent conversation, the film’s director opened up about Sikandar being a completely original film and not a remake. Read on to know what he said.

AR Murugadoss: Sikandar Is A Completely Original Story

As reproted by News18, AR Murugadoss cleared the air surrounding whether or not Salman Khan’s Sikandar is a remake or not. The filmmaker said, “This is a completely original story. Every scene, every frame of Sikandar has been designed and executed with authenticity, offering a fresh narrative and experience.”

He continued, “It’s not a remake or adaptation of any existing film. An essential part of the film’s originality is its stunning background score, crafted by the immensely talented Santosh Narayanan. His music perfectly complements the film’s energetic tone and vibrant visuals, adding an emotional depth that enhances every scene.”

About Sikandar

Sikandar is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The soon-to-release actioner features Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. Aside from Khan, the film also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi and Prateik Babbar in pivotal roles. The film, which promises high-octane action and gripping storytelling, is slated for a grand release on Eid 2025.

Recently, an insider revealed that 500 dancers were flown in from Turkey to shoot a song.
