Arjun Rampal’s GF Gabriella Demetriades’ brother Agisilaos yet again arrested by NCB; Deets Inside

Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades’ brother Agisilaos Demetriades is yet again arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after recovering drugs in his possession in Goa. As per a report in ETimes, the Zonal director Sameer Wankhede was heading the operation that was launched to find out the drug peddlers and those involved in the consumption and distribution of illegal substances. NCB’s sources revealed that this is the third case that the investigation agency is pursuing against Agisilaos.

ANI’s  report stated, “NCB Mumbai and Goa in a joint operation arrest Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades’s brother from Goa, in connection with a drugs case; seized charas: Narcotics Control Bureau”.

The NCB’s probe into the drug angle started post the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020. The prime accused Rhea Chakraborty was arrested in September, and also the agency called many Bollywood A-listers including actors Deepika Padukone, her manager Karishma Prakash, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Shraddha Kapoor to investigate the drug angle.

Last year in October, the central agency arrested Agisilaos Demetriades. For the unversed, he is an African citizen. The NCB had found his connection with drug peddlers in the drug nexus and also allegedly found drugs after they raided a resort in Lonavala. The anti-narcotics agency confirmed that Agisilaos was a member of a Bollywood drug syndicate. He was arrested under Section 27 (Punishment for financing illicit traffic and harbouring offender), It is the most stringent section of the NDPS Act. In December, a special narcotics court in Mumbai granted him bail on a surety of Rs 50,000. He was also asked to submit his passport and not to leave the city without informing the Narcotics Control Bureau.
