Asin is one of the most talked-about celebrities right now. Several reports recently claimed that Asin is divorcing her husband Rahul Sharma. On Wednesday, Asin broke her silence as she strongly reacted to the divorce rumours. Asin shared that she is currently on a vacation with husband Rahul Sharma and slammed the divorce rumours. She further called the rumours ‘baseless’.

Asin REACTS to divorce rumours with Rahul Sharma

The actress took to her Instagram Stories and wrote, “In the middle of our summer holiday right now, literally sitting across each other enjoying our breakfast and came across some very imaginative and utterly baseless ‘NEWS’.”

Asin added, “Reminds of the time we were sitting at home together with our families planning our wedding and we heard that we had broken up (laughing emoji) Seriously?! Pls do better. (Disappointed to have wasted 5mins of an otherwise wonderful holiday on this!) Have a great day you guys.”

How did the rumours start?

The rumours started after Asin deleted all her pictures with husband Rahul Sharma from her Instagram. The actress also deleted all her wedding photos. Asin’s Instagram is full of pictures of her daughter Arin.

Asin and Rahul tied the knot on January 19, 2016 in a Christian wedding ceremony followed by Hindu rituals in Delhi. The couple welcomed their daughter Arin in 2017. Asin and Rahul are doting parents to their daughter Arin.

On the work front, Asin began her acting career in the South Indian film industry. She made her acting debut at the age of 15 with the Malayalam film Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka. She later appeared in films like Sivakasi, Varalaru, Pokkiri, and Dasavathaaram among others. Asin made her Bollywood debut with Ghajini. She starred opposite Aamir Khan in the same. Ghajini was a hit. Post that, she featured in Salman Khan starrer Ready, Housefull 2, Bol Bachchan, and Khiladi 786.
