Ayushmann Khurrana, shah rukh khan, pathaan

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana recently expressed his displeasure when a Twitter user praised his movie, An Action Hero but slammed Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan. While defending the superstar, the Anek actor said that he himself is a fan of SRK. The user tweeted, “Screw Pathan, watch Action Hero on Netflix! Story, dialogues, background music, the subtle middle finger shown to Indian news channels and their crass reporting, @ayushmannk has KILLED it! But my fav was the guy mimicking Arnab.”

Ayushmann Khurrana gives a humbles response to the user:

Though Ayushmann humbly thanked her for hailing the movie, he didn’t like how she spoke about Pathaan. Responding to the user, “Thanks for loving An Action Hero. Could’ve avoided the first line though I’m an SRKian!” Soon after the fan wrote back to him, “Same! I (love) SRK. But sometimes I don’t like the story as much as I love the star.”

Ayushmann Khurrana spotted outside Mannat:

Khurrana is indeed a huge fan of the Pathaan star. In November, Ayushmann shared a photo of himself on his Instagram where he was seen standing outside Shah Rukh Khan’s house Mannat and looking at his place with the hope that he might show up. Sharing the picture with his fans, he wrote, “Mannat se guzar raha tha. Toh ek mannat maang li.”

Earlier, in an interview with Times Now, Ayushmann revealed that the Raees actor has had a big impact on his life. “He has impacted me in life. I studied mass communication because of Shah Rukh Khan. I wanted to be an actor, I took my studies seriously, I topped in my college because of him,” the Vicky Donor actor said.

Meanwhile, Pathaan is doing phenomenal business at the box office. Not just in the domestic markets but the movie is doing well in the global markets as well. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer Pathaan is now inching closer to hitting the 700 crore mark.
