‘Bajirao Mastani’ shoot keeps Priyanka Chopra busy on birthday

On her 33rd birthday on Saturday, Priyanka Chopra immersed herself in work. The actress, who is shooting for “Bajirao Mastani”, says the love and appreciation showered on her gives her strength to aim for higher goals.

“Thank you all so much for such an overwhelming birthday…all your wishes make me believe there is nothing I can’t do…feeling very blessed. Now off to shoot! #BajiraoMastani beckons!! Will stay in touch! All my love,” Priyanka tweeted.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial “Bajirao Mastani”, narrates a love story. The movie features Ranveer Singh as Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao I, while his love interest Mastani’s role is essayed by Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka has portrayed Kashibai, the first wife of Peshwa Bajirao.

The “Dil Dhadakne Do” star was left surprised by a party that her mother Madhu threw for her, and she is in awe of her mother’s ability to be clandestine.

The former Miss World, who began her cinematic journey with “The Hero: Love Story of a Spy”, also greeted people on Eid-ul-Fitr.
