Ban on Rs 500 notes leaves Neha Dhupia in a fix. Here’s how…

The recent move of the Government to ban notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 has created a panic kind of situation among the citizens and Bollywood celebrities are no different. Even though many celebrities have come out in support of this move, they have also faced some problem because of the ban. Neha Dhupia is one such actor who actually had to borrow money as all that she had was Rs 500 note.

Neha recently shared the episode and said, “This was declared day before yesterday and just outside Filmistan Studios, there is an ATM, and I thought at that time that I didn’t have money, so I’ll remove about Rs. 20000. And when I saw (about the ban), I thought, what a waste! Only if I waited for 10 minutes or I wouldn’t have removed the cash. Anyway it doesn’t matter, it is a great step and it’s something that our country needed. It is a very bold move and it will be written down in history. It is a very clean time to be in the industry, so it really hasn’t affected me except woh ATM se jo nikale the! But the bank will take it back. I had a problem with the fruit seller. Every morning I eat an apple and pineapples in the evening. Small things like, I had to add red roses to my hairstyle and I had to ask 4 people, if they had Rs 100 notes because the flower vendor was also not taking the Rs 500 note!”
