Bhumi Pednekar is keeping busy trying to help Covid-19 patients and their families. She is continuously coordinating and making arrangements via social media. Many Bollywood celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Amitabh Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher among others have come forward to help people in this extreme time of uncertainty.

Between all this, Bhumi is missing her late father, Satish Pednekar. On his birth anniversary, which was on May 19, the actress took to her official Instagram handle to share a throwback picture and wrote an emotional post along with it.

The 31-year-old star posted an old photograph, featuring her father and herself. Clad in a dark blue outfit, tiny Bhumi can be seen smiling with her father. Along with the photo, she wrote an emotional post, saying she misses her father every second of her life.

“Happy birthday papa. Now more than ever I feel you with us in everything that we have been doing. Your generosity, empathy, kindness & teachings are our guidance in these times. Love you and miss you every living second of our lives. #SatishPednekar (sic),” Bhumi wrote alongside the throwback picture.

As soon as Bhumi posted the throwback picture, actors from the industry Dia Mirza, Vaani Kapoor, Tahira Kashyap and Patralekha, among others, commented on her post.

Bhumi Pednekar was last seen in Durgamati, which was the Hindi remake of the Tamil-Telugu bilingual film Bhaagamathie. She will be seen next in Badhaai Do with Rajkummar Rao and Mr Lele alongside Vicky Kaushal.
