Bhumi Pednekar follows a secret ritual post wrap up of her films – guess what?
Bhumi Pednekar marked her debut in Bollywood opposite Ayushmann Khurranna in ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ and in her short span of four years, the beauty has created a niche for herself and gone on to be a commercially viable star. Till date, she has a 100 per cent success ratio at the box-office, all thanks to her acting chops and good choices. But not many know that she also follows a ritual post wrap up of her movies.
Bhumi Pednekar who is gearing up for her upcoming dacoit drama ‘Sonchiriya‘ made a startling revelation that she collects some special things from each and every film that she does. The reason she does this is as she gives so much into the making of the film that it isn’t easy for her to detach completely. She would like to cherish the memories forever.
The actress said, “From ‘Sonchiriya’ I brought back a saree, from ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ I have the lota, from ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ I have this pink night suit that I had worn and it is quite an iconic scene, from ‘Lust Stories’ I just have the jewellery she wore because I didn’t have much and from ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ I have a few clothes. But apart from that, I have a clapboard from all my films and they are a part of the decor of my room.”
Speaking about the things she has taken from the sets of ‘Sonchiriya, Bhumi says, the movie is very special because she has lived the character for 8 months before the movie went on floor and 3 months till it was completed. The character has made her a stronger person.
‘Sonchiriya’ is set to hit the screens on March 1 and will lock horns with Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon‘s ‘Luka Chuppi’ at the ticket windows.
