Bhushan Kumar, Vivek Agnihotri To Team Up For Film Based On Operation Sindoor- Report

Producer Bhushan Kumar and filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri are reportedly teaming up for a new project centred around Operation Sindoor, according to sources close to the development. Bhushan Kumar, Vivek Agnihotri Join Hands For Operation Sindoor Film?

A source close to the development confirmed to Pinvilla, “Bhushan Kumar and Vivek Agnihotri are collaborating on their next film titled Operation Sindoor. It will be produced by T-Series and Buddha Production, with Vivek Agnihotri directing the film.”

What Was Operation Sindoor?

The movie is said to be inspired by the codename associated with India’s targeted military operations against terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The story is expected to explore the aftermath of the tragic massacre of innocent civilians. Many of whom were tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in 2025. While an official announcement has yet to be made, additional details regarding the cast, release timeline, and production schedule are currently under wraps. Fans can look forward to an official reveal soon.

Bhushan Kumar’s Recent Projects

Bhushan Kumar recently produced Border 2. It was the sequel to the acclaimed war drama, featuring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. The film was released on January 23, 2026. He is also working on an untitled project with actor Harshvardhan Rane.

Vivek Agnihotri’s Recent Work

Vivek Agnihotri’s latest film, The Bengal Files, was released on September 5, 2025. It marks the final instalment of his Files trilogy, following The Kashmir Files and The Tashkent Files.
