While there is no doubt that Ranbir impressed everyone with his performance and his role, Bobby Deol stole the limelight as Abraar, the villain. Though Animal is earning very well at the box office, it is receiving mixed reactions from the audience for portraying toxic masculinity and showing controversial content. And now, Animal star Bobby Deol has reacted to the criticisms surrounding the movie.

Bobby Deol reacts to negative comments surrounding Animal

Bobby Deol is receiving quite the praise and appreciation for his menacing role in Animal. Recently, the actor spoke with Hindustan Times where he addressed the negativity surrounding the movie. Bobby said, “I am an actor who wants to play characters. I am not out there promoting anything. I do roles which challenge me. What is storytelling? Stories are influenced by what’s happening in our society. It’s just that people don’t want to talk about those things because they want to believe that doesn’t exist.”

Given that Animal is riding high on success, Bobby Deol expressed gratitude to director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Bobby shared that his life has changed post the success of Animal. He shared, “I cannot understand how to process this. As an actor, you are always waiting for that moment when you get recognition, it is like a dream. God has been kind. Hard work turns into luck. I always had self-belief, I knew I had so much to give.”

Bobby reacts to his viral dance scene

Bobby Deol’s entry song and the dance is creating a storm all over the internet. The actor grooves to an Iranian song named Jamal Kudu during his entry scene. Now, speaking with us at Bollywood Bubble, Bobby Deol has reacted to the song and the dance going viral. He said, “It makes me feel happy. It amuses me how people have gone gaga about my dance in the introduction scene. That’s really fun to watch. There are so many reels that are made, even dogs are balancing something on their head (laughs). So how viral has that become?”

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal also includes a cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Triptii Dimri in pivotal role.
