Arun Jaitley Death: Bollywood celebs offer condolences to the former Finance minister

Former Finance Minister of India Arun Jaitley left for the heavenly abode today. He was 66 at the time of death. He was admitted to AIIMS on August 9 after he complained of breathlessness and restlessness. As per the press release by AIIMS, the minister took his last breath at 12:07 pm on August 24. His condition was critical and was on life support. Social media is flooded with condolences for the former minister. Bollywood celebs like Karan Johar, Riteish Deshmukh, Sunny Deol and others mourned the death of the former minister.

He was reportedly on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) support. Jaitley was admitted to the AIIMS  last year in May and he underwent renal transplant on May 14, 2018.

Earlier PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, former UP chief minister Mayawati, Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, and BJP national general secretary Arun Singh among others had visited AIIMS to check the health condition of Mr. Jaitley.
