Celina Jaitly Accuses Husband Peter Haag Of Abuse; Files Domestic Violence Case And Sought Rs 50 Cr Compensation- Deets Inside

Bollywood actress Celina Jaitly has filed a domestic violence case against her husband, Peter Haag. And the former Miss Universe is demanding Rs 50 crore in compensation for loss of earnings. The couple married in 2010 and are parents to three children—Winston, Viraaj, and Arthur. They have been in the spotlight following her petition filed in a Mumbai court on November 21.

Haag is an Austrian entrepreneur and hotelier, was issued a notice after the actress accused him of severe emotional, physical, sexual, and verbal abuse. She claims to be forced to flee their Austrian home and return to India. Jaitly, 47, described Haag as a “narcissist” and “self-absorbed,” alleging he demonstrated no empathy towards her or their children.

She also accused him of preventing her from working, thereby depriving her of her financial independence and dignity, and of filing for divorce in Austria earlier this year. The actress sought Rs 10 lakh monthly maintenance and asked the court to prevent Haag from entering her Mumbai residence, as well as requesting custody of their children, who currently reside with Haag in Austria.

Celina’s Bollywood Career

Jaitly’s history includes being a former Miss India and Miss Universe runner-up. She has starred in films like No Entry, Apna Sapna Money Money, Money Hai Toh Honey Hai, Golmaal Returns, and Thank You. Celina shared a heartfelt social media post on their anniversary last year. She recalled Haag’s proposal at a significant location and reflected on their 14 years together, acknowledging both highs and lows.

In addition to her personal struggles, Jaitly recently sought legal help in Delhi concerning her brother, Major (retired) Vikrant Jaitly. She claims he has been “illegally abducted and detained” in the UAE since September 2024. She alleged that the Ministry of External Affairs has failed to provide information about his welfare or legal status. The court has directed authorities to facilitate communication between her and her brother, and between him and his wife.
