Bollywood actress Celina Jaitly has posted an emotional update on social media after a significant case development of her brother Vikram Kumar. The Delhi High Court issued a key order concerning Major (Retd.) Vikrant Kumar Jaitly, who has been detained in the UAE since September 2024.

In her message, Celina expressed hope and gratitude, sharing a family photograph along with a heartfelt note. She revealed that the court has directed the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to assist in establishing communication with Vikrant. Specifically, the MEA has been instructed to appoint a nodal officer to coordinate with UAE authorities and utilise channels such as the TAMM app or other means to facilitate contact between Celina and her brother.
She wrote, “Ma & Pa.. I am doing my best! I haven’t spoken to Vikrant in 15 months. Today, hope was placed on record… Thank you, Universe!!”
She also shared details about the court hearing, stating, “My petition seeking access to and legal representation for my brother, Maj (Retd) Vikrant Kumar Jaitly, who has been abducted and detained in UAE since September 6, 2024, was heard by the Delhi High Court today. The Ministry of External Affairs submitted its Status Report and has appointed a Nodal Officer to coordinate with me for access to my brother. While I still haven’t been able to speak with Vikrant, it’s been 15 months. The Additional Solicitor General, Sr Adv Chetan Sharma, informed the Court that they will make their best efforts to enable me to speak to Vikrant.”
Celina Jaitly Accuses Husband Peter Haag Of Abuse
Amidst this incident, Celina Jaitly has filed a domestic violence case against her husband, Peter Haag. And the former Miss Universe is demanding Rs 50 crore in compensation for loss of earnings. The couple married in 2010 and are parents to three children—Winston, Viraaj, and Arthur. They have been in the spotlight following her petition filed in a Mumbai court on November 21.
Haag is an Austrian entrepreneur and hotelier. He was issued a notice after the actress accused him of severe emotional, physical, sexual, and verbal abuse. She claims to be forced to flee their Austrian home and return to India. Jaitly, 47, described Haag as a “narcissist” and “self-absorbed,” alleging he demonstrated no empathy towards her or their children.
She accused him of preventing her from working, thereby depriving her of her financial independence and dignity, and of filing for divorce in Austria earlier this year. The actress sought Rs 10 lakh monthly maintenance and asked the court to prevent Haag from entering her Mumbai residence. She requested custody of their children, who currently reside with Haag in Austria.
