Chakda Xpress teaser: Twitterati can’t stop praising Anushka Sharma, fans say ‘queen is back’

Anushka Sharma is finally returning to the silver screen after four long years and we cannot keep calm. On Thursday, the ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ actress shared the first look teaser of Chakda Xpress, which is set to be the biopic of the former captain of the Indian national women’s cricket team Jhulan Goswami.

The teaser has created quite a stir online. Fans can’t stop praising Anushka for acing the role. In the teaser, we can see Anushka playing the role of Jhulan Goswami as she dons the Indian jersey with her girl gang.

Prosit Roy is directing Chakda Xpress. He previously helmed Anushka Sharma’s ‘Pari’. The film has been written by Abhishek Bannerjee. Clean Slate Filmz is producing the movie.

To note, Chakda Xpress is Sharma’s first project after the birth of her daughter Vamika, who she welcomed in 2021 with husband, cricketer Virat Kohli. Anushka was last seen in 2018 movie ‘Zero’ with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
