Akshay Kumar recently put his foot down and cancelled the shoot of ‘Housefull 4’ after allegations against its director Sajid Khan. In response, Sajid stepped down as the director and the film will now be helmed by Farhad Samji.

Recently, an Akshay Kumar fan club on Instagram posted a leaked photo from ‘Housefull 4’ where he can be seen sporting a bald look with a handlebar moustache. We must say that this is an extremely unique look for Akshay Kumar, and has left us excited about his performance in the movie.

After Sajid Khan was accused, Akshay Kumar released a statement on Twitter which read, “I have just landed back in the country last night and reading all the news has been very disturbing. I have requested the producers of ‘Housefull 4’ to cancel the shoot until further investigation. This is something that requires stringent action. I will not work with any proven offenders and all those who have been subjugated to harassment should be heard and given the justice they deserve.”

Along with Sajid, Nana Patekar (who was accused of sexual harassment by Tanushree Dutta) has also stepped down from the film. It is reported that his role will now be performed by Anil Kapoor or Sanjay Dutt.

We hope that justice is served, and the offenders (if proven guilty) receive the punishment they deserve.
