Deepika Padukone’s Fees For Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Prabhas’ Spirit To Be Her Career’s Highest Paycheck- Report

Since welcoming her first child, daughter Dua, with husband Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone is all set to return to films with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film Spirit. And as per reports pouring in, this film – starring Prabhas as the lead actor, will get the actress her biggest paycheck ever. You read that right. Deepika Padukone Is Charging Rs 20 Crore For Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Prabhas’ Spirit?

As per a report by India Today Digital, Deepika Padukone will be charging Rs 20 crore for Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and co-starring Prabhas. Although this has not been officially confirmed, the figure has garnered attention for surpassing the reported fees of her husband, Ranveer Singh. This project also marks a potential professional reunion between Deepika and Prabhas following their collaboration in Kalki 2898 AD.

As reported by Pinkvilla, Deepika had initially declined the offer due to scheduling conflicts, as the original timeline for Spirit overlapped with her pregnancy. A source stated, “Initially, Spirit was to begin by the end of 2024 and hence, Deepika had turned down the offer, as the timelines were not matching due to her pregnancy.” However, the shooting schedule was later adjusted, allowing her to reconsider her participation.

The same source explained, “With a delay in schedule, Vanga went back to Deepika with a revised shooting timeline, and the actress has now agreed to come on board Spirit.” While an official announcement is awaited, this revised schedule seems to align with Deepika’s availability, making it her first film after the birth of her daughter Dua.

Talking about the project, it will be the first collaboration between Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Prabhas. Previously, in September 2024, Bollywood Hungama reported that Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were being considered to play a villainous duo in Spirit. However, the cast, shooting plans, and release date have not yet been officially revealed.
