Ghazi, or PNS Ghazi, was the first fast-attack submarine belonging to Pakistan Navy. For almost two decades, the submarine served at the Unites States Navy (1945-1963), before it was dispatched to Pakistan in 1963. The submarine was parts of important operations, but sank near India’s Eastern Coast during the Indo-Pakistan naval wars 1971. The Indian Navy credits Ghazi’s end to INS Rajput, one of India’s finest warships.

Incidentally, today we celebrate the India Navy Day, a day to salute the naval branch of Indian Armed Force. What better day to announce a film that celebrates Navy’s victory?
