Veteran actor Dharmendra, known for his timeless performances and charismatic presence, recently underwent an eye surgery. However, that did not deter his spirit. Despite health issue, the actor gracefully greeted paparazzi and shared an update about his health.

In a video shared by a paparazzi, Dharmendra was seen making his way to car with bandage on his eye. While he waved at shutterbugs, he was heard saying, “Abhi bhi Dharmendra mein bohot dum hai. Abhi bhi jaan rakhta hoon. Meri aankh eye graft (corneal transplantation) ho gayi hai. I am strong.” Dressed in a printed shirt, black trousers, and a black hat, he expressed gratitude to his fans, saying, “Love you, my audience and my fans.“

Dharmendra upcoming movies

On the work front, Dharmendra will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis. The biographical drama is based on the life of the youngest recipient of Param Vir Chakra, Arun Khetarpal. It casts Agastya Nanda, grandson of Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal role. Apart from him, Sikandar Kher, Simar Bhatia and Jaideep Ahlawat are a part of the film. While the film has gone on floors, official update regarding it’s release is yet to come.
