Diljit Dosanjh wax statue Madame Tussauds

India and Pakistan are currently engaged in a very delicate situation as tensions are rising along the border. Yesterday (February 26), Indian Air Force (IAF) launched air strikes inside Pakistan on terror base camps. Now, Pakistan has also retaliated and the situation is getting very tense.

Diljit Dosanjh took to his Instagram account to announce that at the time of rising tensions between the nations, he wants to stand with the Indian Army. So, he will be rescheduling the unveiling of his wax statue at Madame Tussauds in New Delhi.

The ‘Udta Punjab’ actor is the first Sikh to be featured among the celebrity wax museum and achieved quite a remarkable feat. Madame Tussauds Delhi also took to their Twitter account and shared the news.

Diljit Dosanjh’s unveiling of the wax statue was supposed to take place on February 28, 2019.

This gesture by Diljit is very laudable and it shows how much he cares for his motherland. Many prominent celebrities such as Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar had condemned the Pulwama attack and were praising the IAF for striking against Pakistan.

On the work front, Diljit Dosanjh will be seen in Raj Mehta’s ‘Good News’ with Kiara Advani, Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar. This feature film is slated to hit theatres on September 6, 2019.
