Shah Rukh Khan in 'Don 2' film

It’s been almost six years since the time superstar Shah Rukh Khan made everyone’s heart skip a beat with his villainous streak in ‘Don 2’ (2011). It was the second instalment in the popular franchise of ‘Don’, which many would know was originally a remake of a cult film of the same name starring Amitabh Bachchan in the title role. Rumours of a third part in making were abuzz, but there was no confirmation of the same. However, the producer of the film, Ritesh Sidhwani have confirmed that they are toying with ideas for ‘Don 3’ and will soon make it.

Recently, when asked about any updates on ‘Don 3’, Ritesh said, “For any sequel or prequel or third part of a franchise film, say for ‘Don’, the character is very important… Even I am eagerly awaiting but I think we need to find the right script.” (Also Read: Shah Rukh Khan doesn’t have it easy with Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone)

Further, the producer added saying, “Are we going to make it? The answer is yes. I don’t exactly know the time… We have started thinking very seriously about ‘Don 3’ and we are toying with ideas. We will make it and hopefully it will be very soon.” Ritesh confirmed at the promotional event of his upcoming film ‘Fukrey Returns’.

Directed by Farhan Akhtar, the film starred Priyanka Chopra as the female lead in it.

Well, certainly this is a good news for everyone who is eagerly waiting for SRK to return in and as Don.
