Karan Johar’s first film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ was a blockbuster of 1998. Even today, the evergreen characters from the film i.e Rahul, Anjali and Tina are as popular as they were 20 years back.

The host of the event, Johar revealed an interesting fact about his directorial debut. KJo revealed that it was only Shah Rukh Khan who gave him the confidence to begin the shoot on his first day. Also, it was SRK who suggested him to start the shoot of the film with a song sequence.

Karan looked extremely excited and equally emotional at the event yesterday. He asked Shah Rukh to recall his best memory while shooting for the film and the King Khan surprised everyone with his answer. The Badshah of romance said,  “I never listen to scripts, I listen to the heartbeats of the people I work with. At times millennials chat with me and say things like why did you let go of that script that was such a great script. Till date, I never understood a script. And I can say this with confidence that I never understood the script but the script maker or the filmmaker.”

Adding further he said, “Karan came and narrated an utterly nonsense crap story to me. Which is certainly not the one that finally you people saw in the film. In his strange way Karan, the man with many words tried to impress me with his crap story. So yes, I really did not understand the story when I signed in. And I am glad that I did not get into the story and just went ahead with the conviction of Karan, otherwise, the film would have not been the way it came out”.

Now that’s some revelation isn’t it? Well, we are glad that SRK did this film or else the film wouldn’t have been what it is. Don’t you guys agree?
