Exclusive: I am absolutely appalled, says lyricist Abhiruchi Chand on SLB attack

Many Bollywood celebs like Hrithik Roshan, Yami Gautam, Sunny Leone, Remo D’Souza, Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, etc. have shown their displeasure towards the attack that happened on Sanjay Leela Bhansali on the sets of ‘Padmavati’, in Jaipur.

We recently contacted lyricist Abhiruchi Chand, and she too is quite appalled by the incident. She said, “The incident just goes on to show the scary times we are living in. If this is not gunda raaj, what is? I am absolutely appalled.”

Abhiruchi Chand is famously known for writing the beautiful lyrics of the song ‘Buddhu Sa Mann’ from the film ‘Kapoor & Sons’. She has also written the track ‘Le Chal Mujhe’ in the film ‘NH10’.

It’s good to see that Bollywood is standing together to support Sanjay Leela Bhansali. For now, the shooting of the film has been put on hold. Let’s see when the shooting will restart. The movie is slated to hit the screens on November 17, 2017.
